The cost calculator is used to estimate the costs of arbitration cases with 3 arbitrators – even in very large cases. The calculation is only indicative, as the complexity of the case, its duration, the number of arbitrators, etc., may warrant a deviation from the standard fee.
In cases with five arbitrators, the secretariat should be contacted for information about costs. In cases with only one arbitrator, the calculator can only be used for the service fee. Further information is available under the tab case costs.
The calculator can be used for cases with a claim amount of up to 500 million DKK.
Depotberegneren er justeret pr. 1. oktober 2025 på baggrund af ændrede honorarpriser, jf. nyhed af 12. september 2025.
Tilpasningen af nævnets depotberegner, således at beregningen af serviceafgiften ensrettes i alle voldgiftssager op til 500 mio. kr., indebærer, at der pr. 1. oktober 2025 sker en interpolering af de i vejledningen anførte procentsatser , dvs. ved 30 – 75 mio. kr. på 1,00 %, ved 75 – 150 mio. kr. på 0,50 % og ved 150 – 500 mio. kr. på 0,25 % .

The calculated cost is thus indicative only, and the final costs payable may differ because of the way the case develops, the cost of renting premises, etc.
I sager under 1 mio. kr. med alene én dommer er honoraret som udgangspunkt minimum 35.000 kr. Er sagens genstand mellem 1-2 mio. kr., vil honoraret til den ene dommer som udgangspunkt være 50.000 kr. Det er forudsat, at hovedforhandlingen alene varer en dag.
The calculator cannot be used in cases in which the level of claim exceeds DKK 0.5 billion. In such cases the Secretariat should be contacted for relevant information.
No fee or charge is required to be paid at the same time as the submission of the complaint or related documents. The Arbitration Board determines and notifies the amount of the security deposit for the costs of conducting the arbitration case at the start of the case, i.e., a deposit. The deposit payment is shared between the involved parties.
Der opkræves 60.000 kr. i sager med alene én dommer og med en påstand under 1 mio. kr. I sager med en sagsgenstand over 1 mio. kr. og/eller med 3 dommere fastsættes depotet med udgangspunkt i sagens genstand, jf. beregneren ovenfor.
Depotet forøges løbende, hvis der måtte vise sig behov herfor, f.eks. på grund af en ændret samlet genstand eller antallet af mødedage. Voldgiftsnævnet lægger ikke ud for parternes udgifter og afventer yderligere depotindbetalinger, inden der kan ske afregning af sagerne.
The parties may not submit a bank guarantee for payment of the costs when a statement of complaint is lodged at the Arbitration Board.
At the conclusion of the case, the arbitration tribunal will make a decision on the distribution of the case costs between the parties, after which the board will settle the case. In this context, any overpaid deposit will be refunded through the individual parties' lawyers.
Interest on or losses from the deposited funds will accrue to / be borne by the Arbitration Board.
